This seminar will discusses the luxury marketing trends especially in Korea. Why Korean market becomes so important in Asia? The influence of Korean consumers on the Asian market will be explored. Also key cultural trends in Asia such as Hallyu will be introduced. Overview of the current luxury market in Korea including luxury market trends, luxury retailing trends, luxury consumer trends, and aspiring Korean brands will be presented. One example of luxury marketing research will be presented as well. Academic and Managerial Implications regarding luxury marketing issues will be discussed.
