Abstract: In this presentation, I will discuss multiple avenues to come up with viable research ideas, with their pros and cons, challenge you to think about the contribution of your research before you even begin so as to maximize the chances that your research will make it into a major journal and discuss dos, don’ts, and common mistakes in submitting a paper and strategies to survive the review process.
