Workshop audience
The workshop mainly targets late-stage Ph.D. students, Postdocs, and Juniorprofessors interested in getting a tenure track position. However, the workshop is also open to early-stage Ph.D. students with a strong interest in getting an academic job after their Ph.D.

Workshop instructor
Thorsten Grohsjean (thorsten.grohjean@unibocconi.it) is an Assistant Professor of Management and Technology at Bocconi University. He received his Ph.D. in Management from LMU Munich. Before joining Bocconi, he worked as a Postdoc at Imperial College London and as a Juniorprofessor at LMU Munich. In his research, Thorsten explores how employee mobility affects collaboration and competition between individuals and how individuals and groups select novel ideas. His research is published or forthcoming in both academic journals such as Academy of Management Journal (2x), Organization Science, Strategic Management Journal, International Journal of Industrial Organization, and Journal of World Business but also in practitioner outlets including MIT Sloan Management Review, Harvard Business Review, Harvard Business Manager and LSE Business Review.
